Turkish Baglama Saz

The Baglama Saz has ancient roots and a lineage that crosses many borders, though we'll simply call it Turkish, as it's most commonly known today. A proud member of the lute family, it's been shaping music for centuries. Its microtonal nuances bring a worldly color to any genre, and when played in the traditional style, it carries a mystical quality that invites deep reflection. It never fails to put me in that state—no matter what I'm playing.

In the first video, I am showcasing a more melodic approach with my larger-sized Baglama Saz. In the second, I use my smaller-sized Baglama Saz to be a bit more light-handed and rhythmic. Its versatility makes it a solid choice for any event!
